Grupo Axé Capoeira began in Recife in 1982. Today, as Canada’s first academy of Capoeira, the Group continues to rise as one of the world’s leading Capoeira organizations. Backed by worldwide releases of eight albums of music on CD, several VHS and DVD performance releases and the four Volume Instructional DVD compilation, enrollment continues to steadily increase with over 10,000 members around the world.
BC Athletics is the Provincial non-profit amateur sport organization for Track & Field, Road Running, and Cross Country Running. The purpose of the Association is to promote, encourage, and develop the widest participation and the highest proficiency in the sport of Athletics.
RunJumpThrowWheel (RJTW) is the national grassroots program for the sport of Athletics. RJTW uses track & field inspired games to teach the fundamental movement skills of running, jumping, throwing, and wheeling (for children in wheelchairs).
Dynamo Fencing Club is one of Canada’s largest and most successful fencing programs in all 3 fencing disciplines. Dynamo is home to some of Canada’s best fencers who have all been developed through our programs. Our elite coaching staff includes an Olympic Champion, National Team Coaches, National Team Members and World Cup Winners. Dynamo fencing programs tailor to all types of fencers “From Beginners to Olympians!”

Richmond Olympic Oval

The Oval is also home to Canada’s Only Olympic Museum, where users can experience the power and passion of sport like never before.
UBC Quidditch is a club founded as a co-ed sport based off the sport within the Harry Potter universe. We feature active students of UBC and community members, and work for each other and to serve the Vancouver community.
Vancouver Ki Society
The Vancouver Ki Society is a non-profit educational service organization established to spread Ki principles, Ki-Aikido and Kiatsu, as taught by Master Koichi Tohei, the Founder of the Ki Society. The organization is affiliated with both the Northwest Ki Federation, and Ki Society HQ in Japan.
Training is offered in a traditional Japanese dojo training environment for students of all ages and abilities. The classes are taught by highly skilled instructors with 10 to 40 years teaching experience. All instructors are certified by Ki Society HQ in Japan and receive ongoing instruction to stay current and maintain certification.
